NFL Legend Junior Seau Found Shot Dead


The former NFL linebacker Junior Seau has been found shot dead in his home in California, in what the police believe to be suicide.

The 43 year old who's 20 years in the NFL made him one of the most known players of all time was found with a fatal shot to the chest.

Chief of Police Frank McCoy said "This morning at approximately 9:35 hours, our police department received a call from a young lady who indicated that she was Junior Seau's girlfriend. She indicated that she returned to the residence  to find Mr Seau unconscious, suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest".

Peyton Manning May be Back Soon


Jim Irsay, owner of the Indianapolis Colts has said that Peyton Manning still hasnt been cleared to resume his career with the club.

Following neck surgery, he was ruled out of the rest of the 2011 season, but doctors say he will be able to continue playing soon. However Isray has said that Manning has been showing enough fitness to continue as a quarterback at the moment, but if his fitness improves, the the 35 year-old will be playing again.

Jason Pierre-Paul the Answer for The Giants?


Jason Pierre-Paul says he knows exactly what to do in the Super Bowl, and that is to get Tom Brady.

The second-year defensive end from South Florida has had a strong start to his career after being drafted by The Giants. Now, the young player has the biggest prize in the whole of football in his sites, the only things standing in his way are the New England Patriots and most importantly Tom Brady.

The Giants are key to repeat the events of 2008 and yet again defeat the New England boys, and they will be hoping that Jason Pierre-Paul will be able to help achieve this.


Rob Gronkowski May Not be Back for Super Bowl


Rob Gronkowski says that he doesn't know if he will bit fit for New England Patriots in the Super Bowl this Sunday.

Because of the sprained ankle he suffered in the AFC Championship game win over Baltimore, he mist a fourth day of practise. Before the practise in Indianapolis, Gronkowski who has now stopped wearing an ankle boot says his condition is improving but he doesn't know when he will be back.

Dennis Alen Becomes New Oakland Raiders Head Coach


The Oakland Raiders have officially announced that Denver Broncos Defensive coordinator Dennis Allen will be their new head coach.

Allen has joined the Raiders as their 7th coach since 2003 and has to try make sure that they dont go 10 seasons without a win streak or a place in the playoffs. Latest reports have suggested that he was chosen to replace former head coach Hue Jackson and this was confirmed on Thursday.

The Indianapolis Colts have named former Boltimore Ravens defensive co-ordinator Chuch Pagano as their new head coach on Wednsday.

The Colts old head coach Jim Caldwell was fired last week after ending the regular season with the joint worst record in the NFL. They finished last in the AFC South with a 2-14 record, becoming the top pick in Aprils draft.
